Rathkeale is proud of the many clubs and societies that cater to their members as well as serve the interests of the wider community. Some include:
Ráth Caola Le Chéile is a group made up of Travellers and settled people working on development and cohesion in Rathkeale, generally by hosting learning events. They meet about once a month in the Rathkeale Parish Hall.
Rathkeale and District Historical Society lectures and talks on topics of local interest and maintains a collection of old photographs. More>>
Rathkeale GAA Club is a male and female club for all ages with notable wins in both football and hurling as well as players who make Rathkeale proud when they play on the Inter County scene. More>>
The Rathkeale Snooker and Billiards Club is a fine 3 table club that play several handicap tournaments for their members throughout the year. More>>
Team Rathkeale was formed in September 2020 by over 50 business owners as a working group set on boosting the town’s economy.
The Limerick Youth Service is a leading provider of youth work, education, training and employability opportunities for young people and is to the fore in providing quality youth led programmes. More>>
The Rathkeale Youth Space is a fun, safe space where young people can spend their free time & take part youth work activities, educational opportunities & training programmes. More>>
The West Limerick Deel Angling Club, the merged Rathkeale and Askeaton clubs, accept applications for membership. Interested anglers should call John O’Keefe at 086 845 2764.
